The District of Pupusas — Film Screening and Filmmaker Q&A
A screening of the short documentary “District of Pupusas” (2026), followed by a Q&A with filmmaker Alexandra Colón-Amil. Through the stories of Salvadoran food entrepreneurs, the film explores how Salvadoran immigrants have shaped Washington, D.C., through food, culture, and community. Artist Reception and Talk — Jose Ramirez
Meet Guatemalan-born painter Jose Ramirez at a free Second Saturday reception for his exhibition “Moments in Time in Watercolor and Oil.” The artist will discuss his work; light refreshments will be served. His paintings of Eastern Shore scenes are on view alongside Main Street Gallery members’ art.
